Lewis selected for McDonald All-Star game

Lyndonville High senior Ella Lewis has been selected to play in the annual Ronald McDonald All-Star game which will be held at 1 p.m. March 26 at Rush-Henrietta High School.

Lewis scored 286 points this season (12.8 average) for the Lady Tigers. She also had 109 steals, 103 assists and 98 rebounds.

Her career stats include 968 points, 288 rebounds, 280 steals and 238 assists.

“Ella had an outstanding career and those stats are amazing considering she missed an entire season her 9th grade year due to her ACL injury. She is an incredible athlete who led her team well as a captain this year. She worked hard each and everyday and we are so thrilled that she was able to get this honor,” said Kate Draper who co-coached the Lady Tigers this season with Lee Dillenbeck.

The G-R wll also be represented at the All-Star game by Oakfield-Alabama senior Kelsey Schlagenhauf.

She scored 226 points this season (10.76 ave.), grabbed off 202 rebounds and had 71 steals and 48 assists.
