LeRoy girls down Albion; Medina, R-H bow

LeRoy used a 31-13 scoring edge over the middle two quarters to key a 56-43 win over visiting Albion this evening in a non league game.

Trailing 14-11 after the opening period, LeRoy rallied into leads of 29-20 at the half and 42-27 at the three-quarter mark.

Kendall Derisley scored 14 points to lead Albion as Honesty Little added 8 points and 11 rebounds.

Albion next hosts Roy-Hart on Tuesday to open the Niagara-Orleans League season.

Depew 47, Roy-Hart 27
Miah Glena scored 11 for Roy-Hart in the 47-27 non league loss to Depew as Shelby Wolf, Claire Halstead and Rileigh McCabe each added 4.

CCA 58, Medina 20
Jumping out to a 30-12 half-time advantage, Central Christian Academy went on to defeat host Medina 58-20 in a non league contest.

Anya Bloom scored 10 for Medina which next visits Barker on Tuesday to open the N-O season.

Swimming

Roy-Hart swept to a doubleheader victory over Wheatland-Chili in a non league meet. The Channel Cats won the boys’ meet 133-7 and the girls’ competition 109-22.
