Leagues get rolling at Hickory Ridge
Leagues are finally getting back to normal at Hickory Ridge from the rough recent wet weather. Some finally have enough rounds in to establish handicaps.
This past week, the Wednesday Nights Men’s League posted their standings and results. Leading with 40.5 points is the team of Ray Daniels and Tim Hendrickson. In second place is Dick Taylor and Dave Polisoto. with 33 points. Tied for third are the teams of Billy Connolly and Larry Powers and the twosome of AJ Gifaldi and Dave Petta with 28 points each. Gary Beattie and Jim Zambito occupy fifth with 26 points.
The Tuesday Night Ladies Late League will finally get their standings posted next week. This past week low gross for the night was Deb Wood with a 37. Dona Hazen came in second with a 48. Hazen also took low net honors with a 36 followed by Karen Berlew and Laura Shoup both posting a 38.
The HRGA Members’ Tournament was a two man scramble. Billy Connolly and Tim Hendrickson took first with Dave Polosito and his guest Dave Rau in second. Deb Wood and Ray Daniels were in third and the team of Dave Petta and Loyd Denniston cashed in fourth. The next member tournament will be the flag tournament held on the Fourth.
