Lady Tigers win G-R volleyball opener
Rebounding from an opening set loss, Lyndonville rallied to defeat host Wheatland-Chili 18-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-19 this evening in the Geensee Region League volleyball opener.
Lorelei Dillenbeck had 4 aces, 7 assists, 5 kills and 6 digs; Gracie Johnson 2 aces, 5 kills and 1 block; Addy Dillenbeck 4 aces and 6 kills; Brynn Howell 3 digs; Karlee Rounds 4 kills and 4 blocks and Haley Shaffer 1 ace and 7 digs for the Lady Tigers.
In other G-R action, Kendall defeated Pembroke 25-13, 25-20, 25-19., Byron-Bergen downed Holley 25-16, 25-8, 25-9 and Elba bested Oakfield-Alabama 25-23, 25-21, 25-18. Carol Sybertz and Laci Sewar each had 8 kills for Elba.
