More than 200 marijuana plants have been seized in recent weeks following marijuana eradication flyovers, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force reported today.

Multiple charges and arrests are pending as a result of the flyovers, the Task Force said in a news release.

About half of the marijuana plants seized were located in the backyards of eight different homes.

The Task Force worked with the following agencies with the flyovers and marijuana investigation: U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations Buffalo Air Unit, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Police and the Albion Police Department.
