Devin Edick scored a game high 21, including five threes, to pace Kendall as Jacek Kwiatkowski added 10,, Zach Barrett 9, Louie Conte and Austin Werth and Richards 3.
Back-to-back threes by Edick and Barrett capped off a 13-5 first period scoring edge for Kendall which also included a pair of baskets by Kwiatkowski.
The Eagles maintained slender leads of 24-22 at the half and 39-38 at the three-quarter mark. Barrett scored 6 in the second period while Edick had 5 and Conte and Kwiatkowski 4 each in the third.
That set the stage for the back and forth fourth period which saw Brown and Mack each tally 6 for the Hornets and Edick 8, including two threes, for the Eagles.
