Late surge lifts W-C cagers past Holley
Pulling away down the stretch, Wheatland-Chili downed visiting Holley 57-42 this evening in a Genesee Region League make-up game.
Leading by a narrow 42-38 margin, W-C outpointed Holley 15-4 in the decisive final stanza to claim the win.
Derek McArthur scored 11 for Holley as Dylan Hillabush added 8 and Andrew Moseman, Patrick Bower and Nate Towne 6 each.
W-C led 28-23 at the half.
In a G-R girls game, Alexander downed host Kendall 45-21.
