Late surge lifts Notre Dame past Kendall

Trailing 52-48 after three quarters, Notre Dame rallied with a big 20-4 fourth period scoring surge to earn a 68-56 victory over visiting Kendall this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Ryan Moffat scored 15 of his game high 27 points in the fourth period to lead the Irish rally. Nico Zambito added 13 on the night for the Irish.

Nate Warters scored 20, Mickey Gardner and John Rath 12 and Hunter Menze 9 for Kendall. Rath also had 9 rebounds and 6 assists, Menze 8 rebounds, Gardner 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Warters 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Kendall led 19-18 after one quarter and Notre Dame 35-33 at the half.

Wheatland-Chili 69, Lyndonville 62
Jumping out to leads of 16-4 after one period and 38-21 at the half, Wheatland-Chili went on to defeat visiting Lyndonville 69-62 in a G-R contest.

Elijah Gissendanner scored 25 and Adam Lund 18 to lead W-C.

Zach Johnson scored 17, Nathan Poler 16, Matt Hess 13 and Nathan Dillenbeck 10 for Lyndonville.

Pembroke 92, Holley 38
Pembroke built up a 51-24 halftime advantage in route to earning a 92-38 win over visiting Holley.

Reid Miano scored 23 and Jamil Marble 18 to lead Pembroke.

Patrick Bower scored 14 for Holley.
