Late surge lifts Attica past Holley
Pulling away down the stretch, Attica downed visiting Holley 58-45 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.
Deadlocked at 40-40 after three quarters, Attica outscored Holley 18-5 in the decisive final period to claim the win.
Broek Ostrom scored a game high 23 points and James Tette netted 15 for Holley which led 24-21 at the half.
Brandon DuFour led Attica with 12.
Both teams are now 1-3.
Holley next visits Pembroke on Wednesday.
Girls Basketball
Pembroke 54, Holley 34
Karli Houseknecht scored 16, Isabel Breedon 14 and Sydney Johnson 13 to lead Attica to the 54-34 G-R win at Holley.
Attica led 18-9 after one quarter and 35-14 at the half.
Adriana Botello scored 13 and Tatum Gagne 9 for Holley.
Pembroke is now 4-1 and Holley 1-3.
