Late Kendall rally falls just short
A late comeback bid fell just short as Kendall dropped a narrow 64-59 decision to visiting Attica this evening in a Genesee Region League game.
Trailing 50-39 after three quarters, Kendall put together a big 20-10 fourth quarter scoring burst to rally back to within one at 60-59 but the Eagles could not pull even. Collin Lewis, Nate Warters and Brandon Miller each scored 6 to spearhead that rally.
Owen Thompson scored 26 and grabbed off 22 rebounds for Attica which led 17-9 after one quarter and 32-22 at the half.
Warters finished with a career high 29 points as Miller had 14 and John Rath 10. Warters also had 7 rebounds and 4 assists, Miller 4 rebounds and 4 blocks and Rath 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.
Oakfield-Alabama 90, Lyndonville 56

Ryan Douglas scored 24 and Dalton Carlson 17 to lead the Hornets.
Corey Hydock had 18, Jacob Hoffee 16 and Eric Neace 11 for Lyndonville.
