Late Attica surge nips Kendall

Coming from behind in the fourth quarter, Attica rallied to nip visiting Kendall 63-61 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Trailing 47-44 at the three-quarter mark, Attica rallied to outscore Kendall 19-14 down the stretch to claim the narrow win.

Dawson Nelson scored 9 of his 15 points to spark that late surge by the Blue Devils whose leading scorer was Franke Bisceglie with 23.

Nathan Warters shared game high honors for Kendall with 23 as Hunter Menze added 12 and John Rath 11.

Kendall jumped out to a 15-7 first quarter lead but Attica rallied into a 29-28 advantage at the half.  The Eagles rebounded to reclaim a 47-44 lead after three quarters but the last rally and the win belonged to the Blue Devils.

Kendall next Byron-Bergen on Wednesday in another G-R contest.
