Last minute goal earns M/L United U17 a tie
A last minute goal earned Medina/Lyndonville United a 2-2 tie with the Tonawanda Thunder Wednesday evening in a Buffalo and WNY District Soccer League boys U17 Division game.
Medina/Lyndonville United grabbed a 1-0 first half lead on a goal by Zaric Boyce.
However, due to an injury, M/L played with only 10 players for most of the second half and Tonawanda capitalized on the advantage to score a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead.
M/L United though rallied to earn a 2-2 tie as Jack Whipple scored the equalizer in the final minute.
