Lancers score win over Purple Eagles
Steadily pulling away, Elba downed visiting Albion 60-45 this evening in a non league boys basketball game.
The Lancers led 12-10 after one quarter, 30-20 at the half and 46-32 at the three-quarter mark.
Connor Scott spearheaded the Elba attack with 30 points, 23 of which came in the first half.
Aquil Gaffney scored 19 and Blake Preston 23, including four threes, for Albion.
The Purple Eagles next host Oakfield-Alabama in a non league game at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
