Lancers rally to down Purple Eagles
Trailing 16-13 at the half, Lew-Port rallied for two unanswered touchdowns in the second half to down visiting Albion 27-16 this evening in a B3 Division game.
Albion took an early lead with two first quarter touchdowns on a short run by Nate Gibson and a pass from quarterback Jonah Elsenheimer to Noah Harrison. Cencere Lowe ran for one two-point conversion and Elsenheimer passed to Peyton Robinson for the other.
The Lancers are now 1-5 in the division and 1-6 overall while the Purple Eagles are 0-7 in the division and overall.
The Purple Eagles will next host rival Medina to close on the regular season on October 25.
