Lancaster blanks RBM hockey team
Avenging a loss the week before, Lancaster downed the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club hockey team 3-0 today at Depew.
The game was scoreless until 2:28 remaining in the second quarter when Lancaster scored two quick goals in a span of just a minute and a half. Lancaster’s final goal came on an empty netter with 1:24 remaining in the game.
Both teams tested the goaltenders on numerous occasions with Andrew Warner playing a stellar game in goal for RBM which also got great defensive play from Tom Paisley, Jason Kuchey, Colin Dodge and Reed Winslow from Roy-Hart as well as Jacob Harris from Barker.
RBM’s next outing is Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in East Aurora for an outdoor game.
