Lakewomen surge past Lady Tigers

Rebounding from an early 1-0 deficit, Wilson rallied to defeat Lyndonville/Medina 4-2 this morning in a non league girls soccer game ay Lyndonville.

The Lady Tigers grabbed the 1-0 lead on a goal by Ella Lewis but Wilson answered back with tallies by Leia Cloy and Lilly O’Lay to take the lead for good by a 2-1 margin at half-time.

The Lakewomen went on to break the contest open by boosting their lead to 4-1 on a pair of second half goals by Skylar Munnikhuysen.

Lewis scored her second goal for the Lady Tigers to round out the scoring.

Lyndonville/Medina next faces Alexander in a Genesee Region League game at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lyndonville.
