Lakeshore flood watch issued for Tuesday through Wednesday
A lakeshore flood watch has been issued for Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning for Orleans, Niagara and Monroe counties.
The National Weather Service in Buffalo said the combination of very high lake levels and brisk northeast winds may locally increase lake levels along the south shore of Lake Ontario.
“Wave action may further increase shoreline flooding and erosion,” the Weather Service said.
