A late goal earned Wilson a narrow 2-1 victory over host Albion this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game.

Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Wilson regained the lead for good when Cesar Carlin scored with just 9:52 remaining.

Albion had knotted the contest at 1-1 when Nick Reed capped off a long rush with a goal just 2:12 into the second half.

Wilson led 1-0 at the half as the result of an own goal.

Wilson improves to 2-1 in the league and 5-2 overall while Albion is now at 2-1m 3-2-1.

Albion next visits Medina/Lyndonville at 10 a.m. Saturday at Vets Park.
