Lady Trojans rally past Lady Tigers

Alexander rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip visiting Lyndonville 7-5 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

A two-run home run by Hannah Paolucci capped off the LadyTrojans decisive rally.

Lyndonville had only 4 hits on the day, all coming during a two-run first inning on singles by Aubrey Lewis, Miranda Lembcke, Jess Harling and Lisa Boyce.

The Lady Tigers later added solo runs on errors in the third, sixth and seventh innings to hold a short lived 5-4 lead.

Lyndonville pitcher Makenzie Muck likewise hurled a four hitter.

Lyndonville, which is now 11-2 in G-R action, next hosts Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Brooklynn Bartholomew had 3 hits and Anna Brasted a two-run single for Holley in the Lady Hawks 18-9 G-R loss to Notre Dame.
