Lady Tigers win quick opener
Wasting little time in breaking into the victory column, Lyndonville scored a quick 3-1 win over visiting Wilson this afternoon in the Lady Tigers non league season opener.
Maddy Boyle scattered five hits and struck out six to earn the win in the circle.
Madison Gardepe led the Lady Tigers at the plate with three hits and three RBIs. She had a run producing triple in the first inning and RBI singles in both the third and fifth frames.
Rebekah Hoffee also had a double for Lyndonville which next visits Medina in a non league game at 11 a.m. Friday.
