Lady Tigers will open sectionals at home
Seeded No. 3, Lyndonville will open Section V Class D1 girls basketball playoff action with a home game next Friday.
The Lady Tigers will host the winner of Tuesday’s opening round contest between No. 6 South Seneca and No. 11 Naples at 7 p.m. Friday.
Lyndonville posted a 13-7 record during the regular season while South Seneca was 11-9 and Naples 2-17.
In Class C1, No. 10 Holley will visit No. 4 Geneseo on 7 p.m. Wednesday.
In Class C2, No. 10 Kendall will travel to No. 7 York at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Section V boys opening round matchups
In Class C1, No. 12 Holley will visit No. 5 Northstar at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In Class C2, No. 9 Kendall will visit Genesee Region League foe No. 8 Alexander also at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In Class D1, No. 10 Lyndonville travels to No. 7 Arkport/Canaseraga at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the winner taking on No. 2 Fillmore on Saturday.
