Lady Tigers to host Kendall in key G-R contest

This coming Friday’s matchup of 7-1 teams as Kendall visits Lyndonville for a Genesee Region League girls game will highlight the week’s local basketball action.

Lyndonville will also host Kendall in a G-R boys contest on Thursday.

In Niagara-Orleans League action, Tuesday’s Medina vs. Albion boys and girls basketball games have been postponed marking the second postponement in a row for the Mustang squads.

“We are holding off for safety reasons with the recent rise in (Covid) cases locally,” said Medina Athletic Director Eric Valley.

In N-O girls swimming action two meets this week – Newfane (5-1) at Akron (4-1) on Tuesday and Akron at Roy-Hart (4-2) on Thursday – will go a long way in determining this year’s league champion.
