Lyndonville closed out the Genesee Region League softball  season by sweeping a doubleheader from visiting Kendall this afternoon by scores of 9-5 and 17-5.

A five run fourth inning uprising which included a two-run double by Gracie Johnson, an RBI double by Anna Lewis and RBI singles by Stacy Buckland and Alecia Hinkson keyed the Lady Tigers to the opening game win.

Johnson, Lewis, Hinkson, Chloe Stinson and Cassie Boyle each had two hits in the contest as the Lady Tigers finish the G-R season at 13-1 and improve to 15-1 overall.

In the second game, Lyndonville took the lead for good at 3–2 by scoring three times in the third inning on a two-run homer by Johnson and an error. Singles by Lorelei Dillenbeck and Stinson set up the threat.

The Lady Tigers then broke the contest wide open by exploding for nine runs in the fourth frame as Dillenbeck and Stinson both had two hits, Boyce a double and Lewis a single.

Boyce then hit a solo homer and Stinson had a two-run double to highlight a five run fifth inning.

Defensively, the Lady Tigers turned a pair of double plays, the first from Megan Krisher at second to Johnson at first and the second from Boyce at third to Johnson.

Julie Coble had a two-run single for Kendall as Brittney Marks and Sara Mattle both had RBI singles.

In a non league game Lima Christian defeated Holley 10-8.
