Lady Tigers romp to win in G-R opener
Getting point production from 11 players, Lyndonville romped to a 73-32 victory over host Wheatland-Chili this evening in the Genesee Region League season opener.
Lorelei Dillenbeck scored 17, Ella Lewis 13 and Karlee Rounds 10 to lead the Lyndonville attack. Ashlee Stephens chipped in with 8, Addison Dillenbeck 7, Haley Shafer 6, Brynn Howell 4, Peyton McDonald 3, Annabelle Froman and Shelby Boring 2 and Morgan Austin 1.
Setting the tone for the evening, Lyndonville jumped out to a 20-7 first quarter lead as Lewis scored 8 and Lorelei Dillenbeck, Rounds and Stephens 4 each.
The Lady Tigers went on to maintain commanding leads of 38-18 at the half and 55-26 after thee quarters. Lorelei Dillenbeck netted 8 in the second and 5 in the third.
Now at 3-0 overall, Lyndonville next hosts Notre Dame on Tuesday.
