Lady Tigers romp to 7th win
Pounding out 23 hits, Lyndonville romped to a 17-1 victory over host Northstar this afternoon in a non league softball game.
Winning pitcher Hailey Wetherbee and Katie Marek both had four hits and Morgan Hungerford three, including a home run, to highlight the Lady Tigers attack.
In the circle, Wetherbee hurled a no hitter and struck out 10.
Lyndonville is now 7-1.
Kendall 22, Holley 7
Capitalizing on 18 walks, Kendall posted a 22-7 victory at Holley in a Genesee Region League game.
Kari Hurlbutt had two hits, two RBIs and six stolen bases and Nicole Browe one hit and four runs scored to lead Kendall.
Bailey Papaj and Nicki Mauro both had two hits for Holley.
