Lady Tigers romp past Alexander
Erupting for seven runs in the first inning, Lyndonville went on to down host Alexander 20-3 in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon.
Winning pitcher Arnie Sturtevant had a single and double in the big opening frame. In the circle she allowed only 2 hits and struck out 4.
The Lady Tigers capped off the win with a huge 10 run fifth frame highlighted by a grand slam home run by Addison Dillenbeck.
Dillenbeck, who also had a triple on the day, finished with 3 hits as did Sturtevant.
Lyndonville is now 6-1 overall.
