Lady Tigers romp in non league opener
Erupting for nine runs in the first two innings, Lyndonville went on to defeat host Wilson 20-4 in a season opening non league softball game this afternoon.
Bella Groves went 5 for 5 at the plate with a double and 6 RBI and Lorelei Dillenbeck was 4 for 5 with two doubles, a triple and 3 RBI to lead the way for Lyndonville.
The Lady Tigers also had Briana Krisher with a pair of hits as Alexa Robinson and Addison Dillenbeck both had doubles. Dillenbeck drove in three runs.
In the circle, Haley Shaffer and Lorelei Dillenbeck split the pitching duties combining to strikeout 8 and scatter 6 hits.
