Lady Tigers romp in G-R opener

Scoring in every inning, Lyndonville romped to a 17-1 victory over host Wheatland-Chili this afternoon in a season opening Genesee Region League softball game.

Miranda Lembcke banged out four hits, Makenzie Muck 3 and Cassie Boyce 2 to spearhead the attack for Lyndonville which scored 4 quick runs in the first inning and then broke the contest open with 5 more in the third.  Lembcke and Boyce both had 2 doubles while Muck and Anna Lewis each added 1.

Stacy Buckland went the distance in the circle for the Lady Tigers scattering 6 hits and striking out 5.
