Lady Tigers roll to third victory

Up by a dozen at the half, Lyndonville went on to defeat visiting Rochester Prep 54-35 in a non league game this evening earning the Lady Tigers their third victory of the season.

Anna Lewis had a triple-double with 13 points, 10 steals and 10 assists to set the pace for Lyndonville.

Ella Lewis led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 16 as Miranda Lembcke added 9, Alecia Hinkson 7, Savannah Poler 6,Paige McDonald 2 and Danielle Weldon 1.

Alexia Kelly scored 12 and Ashley Benjamin 11 for Rochester Prep.

Lyndonville jumped out to a 15-6 first period lead as Ella Lewis scored 6 and Anna Lewis 4.

The Lady Tigers maintained a 12 point, 27-15, lead at the half and upped the advantage to as much as 16, 39-23, late in the third period after a layup off a turnover by Hinkson.

Anna Lewis had 7 in the period which ended with Lyndonville up by 12, 42-30.

The Lady Tigers put a firm lock on the win by opening the final period with a 7-0 run including a three by Ella Lewis, a layup off a steal by Hinkson and a layup by Lembcke for a commanding 19 point, 49-30 lead.

Pembroke 42, Barker 22
The host Lady Dragons defeated Barker 42-22 in the consolation game of the Pembroke Tournament.

Gabby Baker and Hailey Brown both scored 7 points for Barker which trailed 19-10 at the half.

North Tonawanda 48, Roy-Hart 35

North Tonawanda defeated Roy-Hart 48-35 in the championship game of the Tonawanda Tournament.
