Lady Tigers rally past Pembroke

Trailing 5-4, Lyndonville rallied for three runs in the fifth inning to key a 9-6 victory over visiting Pembroke this afternoon to improve to 3-0 in Genesee Region League softball action.

Brianna Paniccia, Miranda Lembcke and Jessie Harling all had hits to key Lyndonville’s decisive rally.

The Lady Tigers later added two big insurance runs in the sixth inning on hits by Lembcke and Harling and a sacrifice by Anna Lewis.

Lembcke and Amanda Drown both finished with three hits as Lewis had 2 and Stacey Buckland a triple.

Oakfield-Alabama 4, Kendall 3
Oakfield-Alabama nipped Kendall 4-3 in another G-R contest.

Trailing 4-0, Kendall rallied for three runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by a two-run single by Madison Rath, but the Lady Eagles could get no closer.
