Lady Tigers rally late to down Newfane

Lyndonville rallied in the late innings to down host Newfane 12-5 this afternoon in a non league softball game.

Trailing 4-3, Lyndonville rallied for 4 runs in the sixth inning and 5 more in the seventh to claim the win. A two-run homer by Brooke Robinson in the seventh highlighted the rally.

Robinson, Hannah Fox and Braelynn Dillenbeck each had 2 hits and Isabella Groves a triple for the Lady Tigers.

Defensively Fox turned a key triple play in the fifth inning.

Barker splits at Byron-Bergen Tourney

Barker rebounded from a 4-1 loss to Perry in the semifinals to down Red Jacket 20-1 in the consolation game of the Byron-Bergen Tournament this afternoon.

A big 10 run first inning, which included a two-run single by Kaylee Stoll, an RBI double by Elise Monaco and RBI singles by Madyson Flint and Madelina Pavlock.

Flint finished with 3 hits and Monaco and Pavlock 2 each.

Stoll also had 3 hits and Peyton Bradley 2 for the Lady Bulldogs in the loss to Perry. Bradley’s hits included an RBI double in the first inning which plated Barker’s only run.
