Lady Tigers rally late to down Lady Hawks

Lyndonville put together a big fourth quarter scoring surge to down Holley 42-29 in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game this evening.

Trailing 27-24 at the end of the third period, Lyndonville rallied to outscore Holley 18-2 in the decisive final period to claim the win as Addison Dillenbeck scored 7, Lorelei Dillenbeck 5, Haley Shaffer 4 and Ashlee Stephens 2.

Holley trailed 22-15 at the half but the Lady Hawks rallied with an 12-2 third period scoring edge, including 7 by Sam Bates, to rally into a 27-24 lead.

Lorelei Dillenbeck finished with 14 and Addison Dillenbeck 12 to lead the Lady Tigers as Shaffer had 6, Stephens and Bella Groves 4 each and Shelby Boring 2.

Bates took game high honors with 16 for the Lady Hawks as Alivia Wolf had 6, Zoey Wolf 3 and Jailyn Bishop and Leigha Walker 2 each.

In another G-R contest, Byron-Bergen downed Kendall 56-21.
