Lady Tigers rally for G-R volleyball win
Lyndonville rallied from a two set deficit to defeat Wheatland-Chili 22-25, 24-26, 25-18, 25-19, 15-10 in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.
Leading the way for the Lady Tigers were Jackie Mack (11 kills, 7 aces, 10 digs, 5 blocks), Katelynn Breeze (11 aces, 9 kills, 7 digs), Madison Davis (8 kills, 3 aces, 9 digs) and Ashlee Stephens (8 kills, 5 aces, 5 digs, 15 assists, 4 blocks).
In another G-R match Oakfield-Alabama downed Holley 25-10, 25-13, 26-24 as Jessica Sosnowski had 6 aces and 4 kills and Katelynn Williams 3 aces and 3 kills.
G-R Girls Soccer
Alexander nipped Lyndonville 2-1 in overtime and Byron-Bergen blanked Holley 6-0 in G-R girls soccer this evening.
Brooke Robinson scored for Lyndonville with 5 minutes to go in the first half which knotted the contest at 1-1.
