With a quartet of veterans anchoring the lineup the Lyndonville girls basketball squad is prepping for the November 29 non league season home opener against Barker.

The veteran foursome includes seniors Miranda Lembcke, Alecia Hinkson and Grace Hayes along with junior Anna Lewis.

The Lady Tigers youthful lineup also includes junior Paige McDonald, sophomores Danielle Weldon and Savannah Poler and eighth grader Ella Lewis.

“We’re going to be a fast, small, aggressive team and just go after teams,” said Coach Barry Webber. “If we can cause some turnovers with our speed and aggressive play that will be key. It will be an interesting year.”

Lyndonville’s graduation losses included scoring leader and G-R All-Star Aubrey Lewis (231 points) and rebounding leader Makenzie Muck (226 rebounds).
