Lady Tigers post win over Irish

A four run first inning scoring burst sparked Lyndonville to a 6-4 victory over visiting Notre Dame this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.

A double by Jessie Harling and a triple by Morgan Hungerford highlighted the decisive first inning for Lyndonville which was ignited by singles by winning pitcher Maddy Boyle and Rebekah Hoffee.

In the circle, Boyle registered 5 strikeouts.

Lyndonville improves to 3-0 in the league and 4-0 overall.

Byron-Bergen 5, Kendall 2

Breaking away from a 1-1 tie, Byron-Bergen used a three run fifth inning scoring burst to key a 5-2 G-R win over Kendall.

Madison Rath had an RBI triple, Kacey Menge 2 hits and Taylor Kingsbury an RBI single for Kendall.
