Lady Tigers post shutout win over Lady Eagles

Scoring in five of six innings, Lyndonville posted a 15-0 victory over visiting Kendall this afternoon to improve to 12-1 in Genesee Region League softball competition (13-2 overall).
Leading 2-0, Lyndonville began to pull away by scoring four times in the third inning highlighted by a two-run single by Miranda Lembcke and a fielders choice play off the bat of Cassie Boyce.

The Lady Tigers later put a lock on the win by scoring five times in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth.
Stacy Buckland, Gracie Johnson and Ella Lewis all had RBI singles in the fifth.
A leadoff home run by Alecia Hinkson then ignited the sixth inning uprising which also featured a two-run single by Ella Lewis.
Lembcke finished with 3 hits as Lewis and Natalie Osrowski both had 2. Lembcke and Lewis each drove in 3 runs.
In the circle, Lorelei Dillenbeck hurled a 1 hitter with 4 strikeouts for the Lady Tigers.
Lyndonville closes out the G-R season at Alexander on Thursday.
