Lady Tigers post G-R win at Attica

Capitalizing on a rash of errors, Lyndonville bested host Attica 8-6 in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon.

Lyndonville scored 2 quick runs in the first inning on a triple by Brooke Robinson and a single by Addison Dillenbeck.

The Lady Tigers then erupted for 5 runs in the third inning without a hit to open up a 7-1 lead as two errors, a fielders choice play and a sacrifice fly by Lorelei Dillenbeck plated the runs.

Lyndonville, which was out hit 8-3, is now 4-2 in the league.

Alexander defeated host Lyndonville 16-0 in a G-R baseball game.

Kendall 2, Northstar 1
Kendall trimmed visiting Northstar 2-1 in a non league game.

Nate Shaw drove in both runs for Kendall as he singled in the tying run in the second following a pair of errors and the winning run in the sixth following a pair of walks.

Gavin Braun earned the win on the mound for the Eagles as he scattered 5 hits and struck out 3 in six over one-third innings.
