Lady Tigers eliminate familiar foe

Scoring in every inning, top seeded Lyndonville defeated visiting Genesee Region League foe Wheatland-Chli 10-5 this afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Section V Class D1 softball playoffs.

Stacey Buckland had a big three-run triple to highlight the Lyndonville attack as Anna Lewis had 2 doubles and an RBI, Aubrey Lewis 2 hits and 2 RBIs, winning pitcher Makenzie Muck 2 hits and an RBI and Brianna Paniccia a triple.

In the circle, Muck scatted 6 hits and struck out 2.

The Lady Tigers downed W-C twice during the G-R season.
