Lady Tigers, Lady Eagles post softball wins
Lyndonville rolled to a 17-5 victory over host Byron-Bergen in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon as the Lady Tigers improve to 9-1 overall.
Arnie Sturtevant had 3 hits including a double, triple and 3 RBIs. Addison Dillenbeck a three-run double. Elena Barry a two-run single, Brooke Robinson 2 hits, Emma Freas a hit and Hannah Fox a hit to lead the Lady Tigers offense.
Braelynn Dillenbeck earned the win in the circle allowing 5 hits and striking out 7.
Kendall 11, Attica 9
Kendall scored four times in the seventh inning to outlast Attica 11-9 in a G-R contest.
In the decisive seventh the Lady Eagles scored on a two-run single by Izzy D’Agostino, a sacrifice fly by Brooke Rodas and a double by Maggie Zastrow.
Sophia Picardo had 3 hits on the day for Kendall as D’Agostino and Teagan Shaw both had 2. Shaw, Rodas and Zastrow all had doubles.
Oakfield-Alabama 21, Holley 1
Oakfield-Alabama posted a 21-1 G-R win over Holley.
Desiree McCormack had a triple and Ali VanAmeron an RBI single for Holley.
