Lady Tigers edge past Lady Dragons

Lyndonville/Medina trimmed visiting Pembroke 4-3 this afternoon to improve to 2-3 in Genesee Region League girls soccer action.

Ella Lewis scored all four goals for the Lady Tigers as she netted the game winner with five minutes to play snapping a 3-3 tie.

Pembroke led 2-1 at the half but Lyndonville/Medina rallied into a 3-2 lead only to see the Lady Dragons rally to retie the contest one last time setting the stage for Lewis’ game winning goal.

Holley 3, Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 0

Improving to 4-1, Holley blanked visiting Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 3-0 this evening.

All of the scoring came in the first half as Halee Passarell had two goals and Kayleigh Neale one for the Lady Hawks. Neale and Allison Lyndaker also each had an assist.

Emma Brady made five saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Wheatland-Chili 4, Kendall 2

Wheatland-Chili improved to 5-0 by downing host Kendall 4-2 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League Division 1 girls soccer game.

Emily Parker scored the first three goals for W-C.

Brianna Wakefield netted both goals in the second half for Kendall which is now 1-3.
