Lady Tigers edge Lady Eagles in G-R opener

Lyndonville edged visiting Kendall 4-2 this afternoon in the Genesee Region League softball opener for both teams.
Arnie Sturtevant had a solo home run, Rylan Townsend a triple and Addison Dillenbeck 2 hits to lead the Lyndonville offense.
Teagan Shaw had 4 hits, including a double, and Ella Christ a solo home run to pace Kendall.
Lyndonville scored once in the first on the home run by Sturtevant, one in the third on a ground out by Sturtevant, which followed the triple by Townsend, once in the fourth on a wild pitch and once in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Alexa Robinson.
Kendall scored once in the second on the homer by Christ and once in the fifth on a single by Alea Barrett.
