Lady Tigers earn G-R All-Star honors

A quartet of Lyndonville players have earned spots on the Genesee Region League All-Star squad.

That senior foursome includes pitcher Maddy Boyle, shortstop Rebekah Hoffee and first baseman Morgan Hungerford, who have all earned first team honors, and second baseman Kaitlyn Albone who is an Honorable Mention selection.

Boyle went 13-4 overall in the circle this season with 96 strikeouts in 114 innings. At the plate she hit .453 with 26 RBIs.

Hoffee hit .487 with 19 RBIs, Hungerford .425 with 29 RBIs and Albone .478 with 23 RBIs.

Lyndonville Coach Joe Moore was also honored as G-R Coach of the Year. He has guided the Lady Tigers to a 45-18 record over the past three years including three trips to the sectional finals and one sectional title.

The G-R Division II champion Lady Tigers went 11-3 in the league and 15-5 overall this season.
