All-State softball honors for Lady Tigers duo

Two Lyndonville High players have earned spots on the Class D All-State softball squad.

Junior outfielder Anna Lewis has been named to the third team and senior catcher Miranda Lembcke to the fourth team.

Lewis hit .536 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs and 33 RBIs this season.

Lembcke hit .461 on the season with 6 doubles, 3 triples, 1 home run and 18 RBIs.

Both players earned first team Genesee Region League All-Star honors for the second year in a row as they helped the Lady Tgiers clam the G-R Division II title.

In addition, Akron senior catcher Abby Stone was named to the first team of the state Class B squad. She hit .537 with 27 RBIs.
