Snapping a season opening two game losing streak, Lyndonville defeated visiting Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 3-1 this morning in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Lyndonville jumped out to a 1-0 lead midway through the first half as Anna Lewis scored off an assist from her sister Aubrey.

The Lady Tigers built the advantage to 2-0 at the half as Aubrey Lewis scored with just a minute and a half remaining off an assist from Abi Rodriguez.

Oakfield-Alabama/Elba did cut the deficit to 2-1 early in the second half but Lyndonville got that one right back when Anna Lewis netted an insurance goal with 21 minutes remaining as Miranda Lembke earned the assist.
