Lady Tigers blank Lady Raiders for first win

A pair of early first half goals earned Lyndonville a 2-0 victory over visiting Barker this afternoon in a non league girls soccer game.

Abi Rodriguez netted both goals for the Lady Tigers, the first just a minute in off an assist from Miranda Lembcke, and the second at the 22 minute mark from Aubrey Lewis.

The victory snapped a brief season opening two game losing stark for the Lady Tigers.

Akron 2, Wilson 1
Akron edged defending champion Wilson 2-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League game as Leah Czechowski scored both goals for the Lady Tigers.

Akron is now 3-0 and Wilson 1-2 in N-O action.

Wheatland-Chili 3, Albion 1
Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Wheatland-Chili scored two unanswered second half goals to defeat Albion 3-1 in the opening round of the Byron-Bergen Tournament.

Hayden Pecoraro scored Albion’s lone goal in the first half off an assist from Noah Goudreau to knot the contest at 1-1.
