Lyndonville blanked host Pembroke 5-0 this afternoon to improve to 7-1 in Genesee Region League softball competition.

Makenzie Muck hurled a 1 hitter to lead the way for Lyndonville.

Breaking away from a scoreless deadlock, Lyndonville scored 3 runs in the decisive fifth inning on a pair of errors and an RBI single by Alecia Hinkson. A triple by Miranda Lembcke ignited that uprising.

The Lady Tigers picked up a pair of insurance runs in the seventh as Hinkson banged out a two-run double.  Singles by Ella Lewis and Stacy Buckland set up the opportunity.

Holley 16, Byron-Bergen 5

Maddie Papaj, Hannah Biedlingmaier and Anna Brasted each had 2 hits and Kassie Norman struck out 9 in the circle to lead Holley to a 16-5 G-R win over Byron-Bergen.
