Improving to 11-2 overall, Lyndonville downed host Elba 12-5 this morning in a Genesee Region League softball game.

Leading by a narrow 7-5 margin, Lyndonville put a lock on the win by erupting for 5 runs in the top of the seventh inning highlighted by a three-run triple by Alecia Hinkson. Singles by Anna Lewis and Megan Krisher helped to set up the threat.

Anna Lewis finished with 3 hits and Ella Lewis 2 as Miranda Lembcke chipped in with an RBI double.

Lyndonville next hosts Notre Dame on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

In a G-R doubleheader on Friday, Attica swept Holley by scores of 2-1 and 8-1.
