Lady Tigers avenge earlier loss to B-B

Avenging an earlier season loss, Lyndonville downed Byron-Bergen 7-1 in a Genesee Region League softball game this afternoon.

Trailing 1-0, Lyndonville rallied into the lead for good in the third  on an RBI double by Addison Dillenbeck and an RBI single by Brooke Robinson.

Brianna Smith tacked on an RBI single in the third to up the Lady Tigers led to 3-1.

Lyndonville finally broke the game open by scoring 4 times in the sixth on RBI singles by Brianna Krisher and Dillenbeck and a pair of errors.

Dillenbeck and Krisher both finished with 2 hits.

Haley Shaffer picked up the win in the circle scattering 6 hits and striking out 7.

Lyndonville, which lost to B-B 10-2 in the earlier meeting, improves to 7-2 in the league and 9-2 overall.

Kendall 8, Elba 6
Kendall trimmed Elba 8-6 in another G-R contest.

Danon O’Brien had a single, a double and an RBI in the sixth which gave Kendall a 7-6 lead.

Brooke Rodas also had a triple and winning pitcher Danielle Offhaus 2 hits for Kendall which is now 4-4 in the league. In the circle, Offhaus registered 11 strikeouts.

Kaelin Ball had 2 hits and Maddie Thompson a double and 2 RBI for Elba.
