Lady Tigers and Lady Raiders score wins
Saturday softball action saw Lyndonville defeat Oakfield-Alabama 5-2 in a Genesee Region League game and Barker blank Holley 28-0 in a non league contest.
Brianna Krisher had a two-run triple in the third inning and Bella Groves a two-run single in the fifth frame to highlight the Lyndonville offense. Groves finished with 3 hits and Brooke Robinson 2.
Lyndonville improves to 9-3 in the league and 12-3 overall.
Natalie Brandel pitched a one hit shutout for Barker whose offense was led by Mia Herman and Sam Murphy each with 4 hits. Murphy had 2 doubles and a total of 6 RBI.
Lilly Monthony, Kaylee Stoll, Brandel, Peyton Bradley and Macie May also each had multiple hits for the Lady Raiders.
