Lady Tigers and Lady Hawks post G-R wins; Irish edge Lady Eagles in overtime
Holley defeated Wheatland-Chili 42-28, Lyndonville downed Attica 39-26 and Kendall dropped a narrow 32-28 overtime decision to Notre Dame in Genesee Region League girls basketball action this evening.
Zoey Wolf scored 15 points, Alivia Wolf 9 and Jailyn Bishop and Samantha Bates 8 each to lead the way for Holley. Zoey Wolf and Bishop also both grabbed off 10 rebounds and Bates had 9 steals.
Addison Dillenbeck scored 17 points and Ashlee Stephens 14 to set the pace for Lyndonville which led 18-13 at the half and 28-17 after three quarters. Stephens also had 10 rebounds and Dillenbeck 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Trailing 26-16, Notre Dame outscored Kendall 12-2 in the fourth quarter to knot the contest at 28 and force overtime. The Irish then outscored the Lady Eagles 4-0 in the overtime period to claim the win. Gianna Falleti led the Irish with 13.
Ava LaMay led Kendall with 7.
